July /August update and 36.5 weeks

WoooHoooo we are at the home stretch. 36.5 weeks. I am still pretty comfortable with no back pain at all. That has been a great blessing with this pregnancy. With the boys my back hurt all the time so it has been a great blessing. We had another ultrasound a few weeks ago at almost 35 weeks. Everything looked great. She was measuring about 4 lbs 14oz. and she was head down. My strep B test came back negative this time, it was positive with both boys. And my cervix is starting to thin. I am not dilated yet but that is progress considering with the boys that didn't even happen until I was over a week late. As far as weight goes as of yesterday I have gained 6 pounds total. So we will will see what happens. I have had a bit of swelling but nothing to bad and some small contractions. I will update next week after Thursday if there is any change.

The end of June we went to South Mississippi to visit Nathan's family. We had a blast. We got to see Pawpaw and Granny and Trae and Tara and the girls. We got to go to Waveland and hang out at the beach and then the next day we picked blueberries in his Aunt's field. We have gotten lots fresh homemade treats out of that. Then we headed home and a few hours after we were home we had the boys birthday party. It was crazy to do that all in one day but I am glad we did. And Nathan's parents were able to be there. The boys had a blast too.

In July we had the 4th and saw a great firework show then set off our own. Eli turned 2 years old on the 10th. He is starting to talk a lot more now too. He is around 25 pounds and 31 inches. We went to Chuck E Cheese and Chick Fil A for his birthday he had a blast. We had a great time with the youth group during summer nights. We had a great garage sale and a great youth car wash. Then ended the month with another tornado with in 10-15 miles of us. It did some damage but I don't think anyone was hurt.

August has started now and we still have great weather. June was hot, July was nice with lots of rain and in the 80's-90's. August seems to be following suit with those temps. We had our last summer night with the youth before the school year started and had a blast. Then we went to Magic Springs in Hot Springs. AR for a final trip. It was very nice. We had some friends watch the boys and I was able to spend around 6 hours floating in the lazy river. It was wonderful.

Well we are at 30 weeks now. Only 10 or so to go. Our appointment Friday went very well. We got to see Selah on the screen again and got some good pictures. She is in the 30th-50th% range for her size/age. They think she is around 3lbs 2 oz now. We had the boys with us at the Dr. again and Judah was pointing out different parts of the baby as the nurse would do the scan. She was very impressed as he was correctly naming the parts. He has been to every ultrasound so far :) Then he asked me if I had eaten Selah because she was in my belly. LOL So he still has a 4 year old mind too. We of course told him no and that Selah is not in my stomach and that God let her be there. I have now gained 7 lbs total and still feel icky at times through the day. I still love it though.

Wow the time flies when you are having fun. I have been a bad blogger lately but here it goes for a quick catch up/update.

So Jan 09 Nathan and I celebrated 5 years of marriage. He surprised me by getting some friends to watch the boys and we headed east to Gattlenberg,TN in the Great Smokey Mountains. We had a great time. Boy do I miss the mountains too. We rented a cabin which was very nice.

Feb 09 Went by in a blur. I had no energy and was very nauseous all month. We just stayed home for the most part. We all came down with the flu for about 2 weeks. Fever, cough, cold etc. We also ended up going to a high risk Dr. for our baby. They thought she might have a chromosomal abnormality and wanted to monitor it closely.

March 09 We woke up to 3-4 inches of snow March 1st. It was so pretty. The boys and dogs had a blast playing in it. The middle of March the weather got a little warmer. The youth group had there spring retreat in Eudora, MS. It was so much fun and the weather was perfect. We also found out we are having a little girl. Selah Jo Moore.

April 09 Another month to fly by. The high risk Dr. said the baby is looking very normal at this point. Yeah God. The boys got bunk beds and love them. Eli did really good with with the transfer and loves being a big boy. Other then that I really don't remember much else.

May 09 We started fostering 3 new born kittens. Yes EVERY TIME I am pregnant we end up with kittens. Auntie Kimmy came to visit from May 6- May 15. We had a great time. Good food and going to the zoo and Chuck E Cheese :) We sold our HHR and bought a Chevy Uplander Van 2006. We love it and now we have room for 3 kids. We also had about 9 inches of rain this month. I really don't think we will ever tire of that :) We also got released from the high risk Dr. He said Selah looks perfectly normal and is right on track for size. We will still have an ultra sound every 4 weeks at the regular Dr. to track her growth due to her having a 2 vessel chord.

June 09 Well here we are in June already. We started off with VBS which was a blast the first week. Then Nathan planned a surprise party for me with the youth group. It was very fun and I was very blessed. It was a pink party which was very cute. The next day on the 8th Nathan left at 5am to take the youth to summer camp in Alabama. We missed him a lot but we kept busy all week. On Friday as they were almost home we ended up having a really bad storm. We had 70 mile and hour winds and the electricity went off. Then the tornado sirens went off. So the boys and I went into the bathroom (our safe room). We also heard from Nathan who was still about 15 minutes away. They ended up parking the bus under a bridge until the storm passed. A tornado touched down about 1/2 a mile from where they were. Judah was very scared. He told me "Mom I am shaking but I am not cold" Poor guy. But we were all safe and it passed and brought really really hot weather with it. It has been about 95-100 degrees the past week. The heat index has been 102-109. We are staying cool by air conditioning and going swimming whenever we can. Judah turned 4 on the 22nd too. I can't believe it. He is such a big boy and such a helper with Eli. Next weeks we will be in South Mississippi visiting with Granny and Pawpaw, and the rest of Nathan's family. We are really looking forward to it.

So for the boys Judah is now 4 and about 38 pounds and 42 inches tell. He is loving all the water play as well. Eli is going to be 2 in about 2 weeks. We will see how big he is next month. He is still not talking a whole lot but can seem to say Chuck E Cheese very clearly :) He is very clever but likes to be the baby. We will work on that. We have also introduced potty training. He is not ready but we want to get him used to the idea. Nathan is having fun with all the summer activities and youth. He has planned summer nights for the youth group. This is where we go to someones house on Sunday night for youth instead of being at the church. We have had a great time so far with it. I am feeling pretty good. I still have nausea and vomiting, but all in all I am loving this part of the pregnancy. I passed my glucose test and have gained 4 pounds total. Well I think that catches everyone up pretty good for now.

Big Brothers and Snow!!!!!

Well the news is out. Judah and Eliran will be big bothers again. We are about 8.5 weeks along and Due Sept 7th. We are very excited. Eli is taking the big brother role seriously now and discovered the art of climbing....on everything. This does not help an already queasy mommy out very much, bit we will survive. I have been nauseous but at the same time starving. I have never been so hungry all the time ever, and when I eat I need meat and cheese. Lots of fun. Nathan has done a great job picking up where I can't. It snowed today too. We woke up at around 6 am and it was falling all around. We built a snowman and had a little snowball fight. Judah loved it and Eli would like the next flight back to California. It is beautiful here. The boys are having a lot of fun playing together now. They make up silly little games and such with each other. Eli is learning more signs and words. Judah is starting his pre-school again at home. He has mastered his ABC computer game too. They are growing a bit. We had an appointment the other day and got weighed and measured. Judah is 36 pounds and 40 inches tall at 3.5 years. Eliran is 21.5 pounds and 31 inches tall at 18 months. He is still our little guy but he is growing a bit.

Hey there I can't believe Christmas is so near. We have everything decorated. It has been fun trying to keep Eli out of everything...he is getting it one day at a time. The boys love to see all the Christmas lights outside. We love the cold weather here too. It has been in the 30's and 40's during the day and 20's and 30's during the night. We like to go see all the ice in the backyard in the mornings. It is hard though shopping with the boys and bundling them up every time we get out of the car. I could keep them in there jackets while buckled but I choose to keep my sanity and have I quiet car ride, not screaming that they can't move :).

On the 17th of November Auntie Kimmy came to visit, then on the 20th Uncle Ed came too. We had lots of fun and lots of eating. We went to all the fun places around and made lots of yummy food. We also went to Graceland to see some Elvis stores and built lots of fires in the fire place to keep warm. We had lots of fun and were sad to see them go, but I think they are glad for the warm weather back home.

For Thanksgiving we drove to Conway,AR to be with Nathan's side of the family. We had a great time over there. We stayed in his Aunt and Uncles cabin Thanksgiving night which was beautiful. We had fun the next day too. Nathan loaded up the truck with wood for our fire place and helped Uncle George burn a bunch of branches and debris that was left over from a tornado that came through earlier this year. It is still really weird to just burn stuff in the open with trees and debris all around when you are from California.

A few weeks ago we were blessed by some anonymous people at church with a new heater for our house. They had it installed and running before it got really cold. It is wonderful to have a warm house now that the weather is so much colder. We are truly grateful for or church family and how good they are to us.

Two weeks ago was fun and crazy all in one. Monday Judah came down with a fever and is almost over it now. Eli just cut another molar. Tuesday we had 3.5 inches of rain. It was so much fun. Everyone out here was so tired of the rain by the end of the day but coming from California I don't know that we will ever tire from it. It was complete with thunder and lightening all day and night. Love it. I let he boys play in the rain and puddles Tuesday morning which was fun at the time but Judah was not fully over his fever so now we have been inside since that trying to get over it fast.

We have been busy at church. We took gifts to a children's home 2 weeks ago. The students got to pick and sponsor a child. It was a lot of fun to see them giving to these children that don't have much. We also went Christmas caroling last Thursday to some of the shut-ins in the church (elderly that can't come to church anymore due to illness or weakness). Friday we went with some friends and were blessed with an amazing dinner at Texas De Brazil. This place was awesome. Then on Sunday Nathan and I both played a small part in our Christmas drama. He was a king and I was an angel. last night we had our staff party that was a lot of fun. Now I have a lot of cookies to make, for Christmas. We can't wait. Christmas is only 2 days away.

Eli has been talking a lot more in the last few weeks. He signs more and does animal sounds. He says mama, dada, nana(which he uses for mama and dada), baba(paci), ball, cak ker(cracker), more, down, no, get down, ssss(yes), sock, shhh(shoe), thank you, book, nigh nigh, caw(car) and a few others. Now not all are clear but we now no what he wants. He signs more, please, ball, yes, bird, dog, elephant, all done, thank you, penguin and maybe a few more. He also does the sound of dog, cat, bird, cow, pig, donkey, bear/dino/lion (all growls), monkey, sheep, and elephant. It has been a lot of fun with him really wanting to learn. Judah loves helping him too. We have also seen a really stubborn side to him. Others refer to it as the red headed temper. Oh boy he will go to something he is not supposed to touch then go for it, or he will stare at us until we look then he will get into whatever it is. He also will dig in the trash, get something out then run as fast as he can. Little stinker. He is learning though and he can't get away with much because he has big brother eyes ready to catch him.

Judah is very ready to start school again. We will be officially starting back with the homeschooling after the holidays. We do a little bit here and there now though. He loves transformers, iron man, bat man, and of course Shamu is never to far away. He is very helpful around the house too. He loves to jump on the trampoline every chance he gets. Now it is getting too cold for them to play outside. They only last about 10 minutes at best.

We Love the Fall and harvest time. The leaves are changing, the weather is cooler and you can smell fire places going outside. We love it.

It has been a while and I don't remember where we left off but this month has been packed with lots to do. On the 4th we took the boys to a pumpkin patch in Tennessee. They had a lot of fun playing and picking out pumpkins. Eli thought they where all balls, oh wait he thinks everything is a ball, and calls everything a ball. Judah got to ride the little train around and play on the pirate ship they had there. We also celebrated Nathan's 28th birthday. We had a little party at Buffalo Wild Wings the Monday before and then another one at our Pastors house the day after.

This year our church is doing Judgement House. This is a walk through drama that takes place from Oct. 30-Nov 2. They started construction in our gym on the 6th and have been working hard everyday since to get it ready. The actually built 6 or 7 rooms and are decorating them now. The drama is on the tornadoes that hit here back in February. From what I here they do a great job with this. There is a tornado scene, hell, heaven, judgement, funeral, coffee house, youth room, and a few more. I can't wait to see it all done. The last time they did this they had about 3000 come through and about 500 proclamations of faith. This year they had about 2800 people come through and 358 proclamations of faith. I had a blast with the boys in the nursery. We were there Wed night through Sunday night from about 5:00p.m. till at least midnight. Nathan had a lot of fun in his scene singing over and over again. I walked through and was amazed by all of it. They did a great job.

About 4 weeks ago we were all sick. The boys had a fever that passed quickly. I had a fever, a migraine and a double ear infection. So with antibiotics I am now doing great. Lincoln our Golden was even sick. He had a fever and hot spots. Now the boys are coming down with a cold. Eli is loosing his voice. It sound sad but so cute at the same time.

Papaw came to visit this past weekend. We all had a great time. He and Granny got us our Christmas present early. They bought us a trampoline for the backyard. We have already logged lots of hours on it. We all have had lot of fun with it. Thank You Papaw and Granny!

Judah is doing great despite the little bit of a cold he has. Nothing slows this guy down. He loves to wake up and turn on cartoons in the morning which gives lets mom and dad get a little bit more sleep. He loves Sponge Bib (bleh), Dora,and Diego. He is a big help around the house. He loves to ride his tractor and jump on his trampoline. The other day at church the kids where all getting ready to eat pizza and go to the pumpkin patch and Judah blessed the food for everyone. Nathan and I missed it but all the adults said it was so precious. For Harvest the kids dressed up at the church. Judah was Batman during the day and an Alligator that night.

Eli is sick right now and getting 7 teeth in at the same time. 3 molars and 4 incisors. Poor baby. So this means that he is VERY clingy and whiny. He has almost no voice and not really any appetite. Hopefully the teeth will come in quickly. He went to the Dr. for his 15 month check up and got 3 shots. He started crying and told the Dr. no as soon as he walked through the door. He knew what he was there for. He is now 21 lbs. and 29.5 inches. The Dr also told us to stop the bottle. We started this on Monday. He is doing fairly well on the cup. His current words that he says are mama(or nana as of late), dada, Judah(or something that sounds close) , cracker( close), baba, down, dog(dada but pointing at the dog), duck, no and ball for everything else. He also signs ball, dog, milk, and please. For harvest Eli was a monkey.

Well we have made it to Mississippi obviously. We have been busy and having a blast. So the whole adventure went something like this.

The Friday before which was July the 11Th we had a going away dinner and Eliran's dedication in Oceanside. It was nice to see everyone that was there and visit.

Then Saturday Nathan and I picked up the moving truck aka "Big Bird". We had a lot of help loading it our parents were amazing and the youth group at Tides came to lend a lot of hands. Our friends Everett and Meaghan also came down to help. We had gotten the biggest truck thinking it would hold everything. Ha think again.
We had Nathan's truck loaded and the car loaded as much as we could and still sent a TON to the dump. We had a lot of help cleaning as well. The weather was warm but not unbearable and of course as it always does on moving day we even had a bit of rain.

Sunday we went to church and then out to lunch to Jack-in-the-Box one last time. Then

back to the house for more cleaning and packing. We went to my dad's later for BBQ and swimming. Then we said our "See you laters" and followed Kimberly and Ed to his Grandma's for our first night. Nathan drove the moving truck while towing his truck and I followed behind with the boys, both dogs,and the cat.

Monday we got up, ate a yummy
breakfast and got on the road. We chugged up the

California Mountains going a whooping 25mph. Then back down at a more impressive speed of 55 mph. We made it to Flagstaff at about 9:00p.m. and settled for the night.

Tuesday we got an early start and drove to Albuquerque,NM to stay and visit with my cousin Katie and her wonderful family. We had a lot of fun and the boys did too. As

we got up really early again and started to pack up. While we were in the process our cat got loose in my cousins neighborhood and after about 10 minutes she ran back into there garage and we were able to catch her. We traveled the rest of the way through New Mexico, the north part of Texas, and half way through Oklahoma. We stayed the night in Oklahoma City Wednesday night. It was really neat to see all the different landscape. We started with dessert and mountains and then went rolling hills and prairies. We got really good gas millage with our car between 30 and 36 mpg. We also saw a wide array of the ever emanate road kill. California had a selection of Raccoon, Squirrel, and opossum.

Arizona and New Mexico had Coyote, porcupine and opossum and Texas and Oklahoma had Beaver and dear. Mississippi has armadillos. I know it is gross but that is what I got to see during our long drive.

Thursday our final day of travel we drove through the rest of Oklahoma and Arkansas

we got to have lunch with Nathan's Grandpa who had never met the boys. It was nice seeing him. Then we drove straight through the rest of Arkansas, the tip of Tennessee and into Mississippi. The boys and the animals did so well on the entire trip. I told Nathan I could definitely do this again. Not moving but traveling by car.

As we drove up there was a huge welcoming group of people from church there to help us unload the truck. They had it done within an hour. One of the ladies took me to Walmart to get any essentials we needed for the next couple of weeks before we could get into our stuff. They are such a blessing and have welcomed us with open arms.

We were able to stay in a house owned by a couple from the church.

They have been trying to sell it so it was vacant. It was really nice to be able to sleep in our own beds. We were able to stay there until we got our house.

We signed the papers for our new house on the 1st of August and moved in on Monday the 4Th. We had lots of help moving in and cleaning the new house. I have almost everything unpacked and done with the exception of the office/music room which is currently pepto bismal pink and has black carpet. We will keep the carpet and paint the wall red this weekend. We love the house so much. It is perfect for us and has a huge beautiful backyard, with grass that we don't even water. We have a dishwasher, closets, laundry inside, a linen closet, an entry closet, a storage room that is huge, air conditioning, and a partially floored attic with pull down stairs.

The church had a potluck and an old fashioned pounding for us. It was amazing we got about 20 pounds of sugar, 200+ cans of food, gift cards, cleaning supplies, laundry detergent, diapers and toiletries. We also had lots of yummy food.

Nathan and I have been enjoying getting to know and hang out with the youth group as well. Nathan has so enjoyed being a youth pastor and I am so excited that he is doing what he has always wanted to do. We have gotten to hang out with a bunch of the youth and have had dinner at several of there houses. They are a great bunch of students.

The boys have done so well in this whole transition. Judah has taken to the church and gets so excited when we pull up into the parking lot. He gets sad when we pass it on the road and don't stop. He now has a pet frog and loves looking at it. He is really ready to start school again so that is another push to get the office set up. Eli has also done really good. He as of this past Monday is a walker. He is so cute when he does it. He walks all over the place then sits claps and says good job. He is completely done nursing and off baby food. He also had his first hair cut today. He looks like a big boy now :(. But, he is so cute.

And on to the animals they love there new yard and freedom. They look so good and happy in the grass. They have all been so good that we rewarded them with a new little friend. Her name is Caedmon and she is a lab mix. She is solid black and 8 weeks old. She is a really good girl and sooooo cute. Lincoln has so much fun playing with her and Crowder even lets her curl up with him. Our kitty has been doing very well and has like being more of an inside cat. She has explored outside a few times but like being inside with us.

As for the weather it was really hot until about two weeks ago. It was between 100 and 105 with a heat index of 102 to 110 and very humid. Now it has been between 85 and 92. We get rain no less then once a week and as much as 2 times right now. They say this is the driest time of the year too. Now when I say rain I mean rain. Like walk 10 feet to car and be soaked to he bone. The thunder and lighting that comes with most of it is really impressive too. We love it.

Wow we can not believe Eli is 1 already it seems like only yesterday we brought him home. He is such an easy going baby. His smile will melt your heart.

Eliran is a cuddle bug. He is goofy. He is sweet, loving, and such a cutie pie.
He is also strong willed and does not like to have his face washed or to out on a shirt.
He loves our animals.
He loves WARM water.
He loves everyone and is a true joy to us.

He is 18lbs 11oz.(5%) and 29.5 inches (44%). He is our little guy. He is still wearing 3-6 month onesies ans jammies. He does wear 9-12 month stuff depending on what it is.

Almost always happy and such little stinker at times. We love him so much and can't wait to see him grow this next year.

Well we went to visit the church in Mississippi and we really felt at home there. They had the official vote a couple weeks ago and the vote was yes. Nathan is getting a chance to do what he has always wanted to do. He will be the youth pastor. We have been busy packing and looking for somewhere to live when we get out there. We will be leaving July 14th. We will both be driving, me in the car with the kids and the animals and Nathan in the 26' moving truck while towing our truck. We are excited and scared all in one but none the less we are ready for this next great adventure God is taking us on. Pray for us and I will update as much as I can now that we are moving. Keep a lookout for Eliran's birthday post as well.

Wow can you believe 3 years have come and gone. Our little baby is handsome energetic 3 years old. He is such a joy in our lives. He is always doing something to make us laugh. We won't lie and say he is perfect but we can see past that.

Judah is loving, giving, compassionate, kind, loves Jesus, smart.
He is also strong willed, stubborn, and likes being in control.
He love to talk and talk he will.
He will talk about anything and everything.
He loves to learn and do school.
He loves his brother.
He loves his animals ans his Shamu's.

He is 32 lbs. and 37 1/2 Inches long that puts him in about the 50% in both.

We are doing really well. We had a really hot week last week highs at 107-110 degrees. Then it started getting cooler. Yesterday we had a thunder storm which was fun. There was a tornado warning for a few hours and one touched down about 9 miles north of us. Fun times.

In other news Nathan and I had our online interview via Skype with Calvary Baptist Church. It went really well and the committee voted yes unanimously to continue the hiring process. We will be going out there June 4th-12th to let them see us and they will be having Nathan speak and sing along with asking lots of questions. We are excited about what God has been doing and scared at the same time. After we get back the church will vote if they want us. So we will see. We really feel God leading us there. We will miss or family and friends like crazy but hopefully you all will come visit and we will come visit as much as we can as well.

The boys are doing great. Judah will be 3 next month which is crazy. He still loves school and can write/draw some letters. We are so proud of him. He can have rough times, then he is so sweet and polite. It just melts our hearts. He can now sing his ABC's and loves to dress up as action heros or dragons. I have been finding different costumes at garage sales and adding them to his imagination box.

Eliran is now 10 months old. He is cruising around furniture really well now and has stood a few times without holding on to anything. He is getting 4 teeth on the top right now which has resulted in a little bit of thumb sucking but even more he is now attached to the pacifier. For those of you who remember we tried to get him to take a pacifier for months but he would cry and scream. Well he decided 10 months would be a great time to start. I think he has it a little backwards but we are just going with it and keep telling ourselves that he won't have it in high school(we hope). He says mama, Dada, and what we think is "what's this". Everything else sounds like Dada. Oh yeah and what we thought was a water baby is definitely not. If it has a lot of water and it is not warm then forget it. He screams for a minute like he lost a leg then he just goes into a trance as if to think if I don't move then I am not here and they can't see me. We will have to work on this.

Mother's Day was great. I got my hair cut short and highlighted. I love it though I have no pictures yet. We went to Oceanside on Mother's day and had lunch with Nathan's Parents then Nathan surprised me with going on a date. It was wonderful. We got to eat dinner and we saw Iron Man without chasing the kidlets. It was a lot of fun.

This has been the week of dental visits. Monday Nathan went in to have a route canal done. I am thinking great. He gets to go first and experience it first and I get to be safe at home. Then he calls and tells me that if I can get to the office in 20 minutes they can see me too. Gulp. So I go in brave and then sit in the chair as they tell me I need three fillings and a possible root canal/extraction. Oh I'm feeling great now. So they do the fillings right then and set up an appointment with a specialist to look at the problem tooth. So yesterday I go to the specialist and sit in the waiting room. The nurse comes out and asks "So are you ready" now what are you supposed to say, "Oh yeah I'm ready for pain and grinding to happen in my mouth. Who isn't". So I say yes. Then they ask how are you today. My response "Well I have been good so far" Anyways they take me back and look at x-rays that determined that the tooth needs to be pulled. Fun. Then they bring in the gas. This stuff is great as long as you remember to breathe. So as the dentist gives me 5 shots in my mouth and starts working I am holding my breath and not breathing the wonderful calming gas. So then 15 minutes later I am down 1 tooth and the whole left side of my face is numb. Moral of this story "Take care of your teeth". I feel great now.

Wow I am so bad at this. I know it has been forever. Well a brief summery to catch you all up. We have been busy, but not like before. We have been home a lot more lately which is nice for a change. In February the boys and I spent 3 days at Disneyland thanks to Auntie Kim and Uncle Ed. The boys had lots of fun and I did too. We had a wonderful Easter and got to see lots of family. We had beautiful California Golden Poppies spring up all over the hills in March, which made for great pictures. They are all gone now and the hills are already turning brown. We threw a surprise 50th birthday party for my mom at the end of March. It was a lot of fun and it was a real surprise. She had no idea.

Nathan has been doing great. He has now sent his resume out to some churches to be youth pastor. We have always talked about moving and Nathan being in full time ministry somewhere. I always came up with excuses because I was not ready to move from all my family. A church in Mississippi right outside of Memphis, TN e-mailed Travis about a year ago asking if he knew of anyone interested in being a worship pastor. Travis then asked Nathan about it and we said not right now. Well they hired a worship pastor but now are in need of a youth pastor. After about 8 months of the pastor e-mailing Travis asking if Nathan was ready to consider this position we felt like God was pushing us to send in his resume. We feel like we are now ready for the next adventure. They are looking at Nathan now and whether this church works out or not we are committed to pursuing to search for where God wants us.
In other news Nathan just got a really cool Zager Guitar. He is really excited to learn to play.
I also got a new vacuum. I LOVE it. It is a Dyson and I can't believe how much it picks up. I know it is just a vacuum, but with a shedding Golden Retriever and a now crawling baby this is really great. I have also been going to a mom's bible study. It has been great. I am not sure if I mentioned this last time but I am in a community band. It has been great. We have concerts and everything. Lots of fun for a band geek.

Judah is doing great. We just started school with him at home using this amazing curriculum online. He loves it. He is surprising us with his conversations that he has with us. We have real conversations. I can't believe he is going to be 3 soon. He is really into bugs right now. He has a bug keeper that he keeps inch-worms and ladybugs in. The inch-worms are now in their cocoons, so we are waiting to see what they become.

Eliran is growing up fast. He is 9 months old already. He is now crawling and pulling himself up on things. He waves and says his version of Hi and Bye-Bye. He has also been saying Mama and Dada for a few months now. He is now 17 lbs 7 oz and 27.5" long. He loves graham crackers and any jar food we give him. He will also take a bottle now with juice or milk.

Here we are again in a New Year. I can't believe how fast it always goes. We are all doing well. We had a wonderful Christmas and New Years then ended up with the dreaded cold. We are all better now. Nathan and I celebrated or 4th wedding Anniversary this past week. He arranged a sitter for the kids and took me out to dinner and then we saw "27 Dresses". It was so nice just the two of us. The kids did great. This was Eli's first time being babysat.

Nathan has been busy as always at work, and at church. He built us a gate on the deck which is so wonderful. He did a really good job. I have been working at getting or little house more organized which is a never ending battle. I have also taken up making or own white bread. I found a super easy recipe using our Kitchen-Aid mixer and it has been fun and yummy. I also got a slow cooker recipe book and we have been having yummy food from that.

Judah has done really good. He was hardest hit by the cold and ended up with an ear infection, but is all better now. We amazes us everyday with his understanding an smarts. He loves to sing songs and Shamu. This boy is obsessed with Shamu. I think he has at least a dozen in various sizes and forms. He loves Free Willy and gets sooooo excited when he splashes. He lets the whole house know when it is coming and wants you to watch every single time. at 2.5 years Judah is 30.5 lbs (58%) and 37" (68%) We love this little guy.

Eli is doing very well. He also had the cold but is well now. His new tricks are sitting up all by himself, and he started whispering Dada last week and this week he started saying Mama. He will also mimic us when we sign "more". He does not understand it but it is a start. He had his 6 month appointment on Tuesday. He is now 16 pounds 3 oz. (19%) and 26.25 inches long (41%) and his head circ. is 17" (25%). Eli loves all the food we have tried at this point. He will eat between 1 oz and 4 oz at a sitting. He is a cutie pie. He is fitting well in 3-6 month clothes but can still wear some 0-3 months and can even wear certain 6-12 month sizes.

Eliran also moved to his crib this past week. I know I know its about time. He has done pretty well. He still wakes up every 3-4 hours and then wakes up for good between 5a.m. and 6a.m. Judah then hears his cute little brother and is bright eyed and bushy tailed and ready for the day. Don't these boys know that there mommy really like her sleep and is NOT a morning person. Oh well. Nathan is a morning person so he usually gets up and feeds the boys or sets Eli up in the crib to play while Judah plays in their room. So I get to dose or fall into a very deep sleep until 7:45a.m. when Nathan goes to work. Eli takes a morning nap that is about 1-1.5 hours and then we all take a 1.5-3 hour nap in the afternoon.

Christmas was awesome. We had such a wonderful time with all of our family. We were blessed this year as we are every year and had lots of fun. We have been having fun with all this rain and we got to go to the snow a few weeks back. Judah loved the snow.
